"We have worked with BlackOps on several projects, and their organization, professionalism, and dedication remain consistent regardless of the task. They always come prepared with a solution, and multiple backup plans, in case anything changes, which is common in the event world. I witnessed them manage multiple projects across Miami Art Week seamlessly; they removed all stress from the situation and handled everything better than I could have imagined, all while maintaining a positive, professional attitude. They consistently go above and beyond, finding solutions for last-minute needs. They are truly a blessing in disguise, bringing positive energy to everything they do and I highly recommend working with them for any type of event."

Angela Romans

Founding Executive Director Innovations For Equity

"Warren, Justin and Ahmed are the epitome of class and professionalism. So good that their energy will have you stepping your own game up. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this company for 2 events. In the beginning, I was nervous about the overlap, or that our systems wouldn’t mesh…now I don’t think that I’d ever let them go. Each guy brings his own flavor to the mix and they have the perfect balance across their team. They are EXTREMELY organized and detail-oriented. They solve problems under pressure and above all of that, they are a great time. The guys can run a show from coast to coast and I can’t wait for the next time our worlds collide."

Yoshi Jenkins Chef & Owner

"The entire BlackOps team is a dream to work with! From top to bottom, they handle every detail with innovation, thoughtfulness and professionalism. We wanted something unconventional for our rehearsal dinner where all our wedding guests could participate. BlackOps found us a fantastic venue that truly expresses our values, created the casual vibe we wanted for our friends and family to meet, and got some of the best tasting food and drinks we’ve ever had -all under budget! They even included little surprise details-like logo’d cups and a logo’s spotlight, a way for guests to give us their best wishes, and a fantastic playlist. We will absolutely be hiring this fantastic team again!"

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of events does BlackOps Productions manage and produce?

BlackOps Productions specializes in full-service event production and project management across a wide range of event types, including corporate conferences, cultural festivals, award shows, brand activations, experiential marketing campaigns, nonprofit convenings, virtual events, and hybrid productions. The team has executed events across 25+ states and 7 countries, managed multi-million budgets, and created unforgettable experiences for audiences in the thousands.

BlackOps offers four core service areas: Event Production and Management, Audio Visual (A/V) Services, Technical Planning and Support, and Creative and Experiential Design. This includes everything from venue scouting, vendor management, and show calling to livestream production, broadcast-quality content capture, custom fabrications, and experiential activations. Full-service and targeted engagements are both available depending on project scope.

Event production pricing varies based on scope, guest count, technical requirements, venue, and the level of support needed. BlackOps builds custom proposals for every project rather than applying flat-rate packages, because no two events have identical needs. The most accurate way to get a cost estimate is to schedule a discovery call and walk the team through your specific goals and vision.

Yes. BlackOps evaluates every project individually. Budget is one part of the conversation, and the team is genuinely interested in finding the right approach for each client's goals and resources. If you're unsure whether your budget is a fit, reach out directly. An honest conversation is always the first step.

Yes. BlackOps Productions is a Black-owned event production company led by four managing partners. The company's identity and cultural roots actively inform the work, from the clients it partners with to the community-centered approach it brings to every event.

An event production company manages the operational, technical, and creative elements that make an event function at a high level. For BlackOps, that means handling venue logistics, vendor contracts, A/V infrastructure, talent coordination, budget tracking, show calling, technical troubleshooting, and experiential design, often simultaneously, across the full lifecycle of an event from initial planning through day-of execution and breakdown.

Yes. A/V services are a core offering. The BlackOps technical team handles audio/visual design and implementation, speaker and microphone systems, lighting, projection, video walls, broadcast-quality content capture and editing, and full livestream production. They provide onsite technical support through setup, execution, and breakdown.

Yes. BlackOps has experience managing complex, large-scale productions including city-wide event footprints with multiple venues, 30+ breakout and session rooms, and thousands of attendees. For the Facing Race National Convening, the team coordinated 1,900 hotel rooms across 7 properties and managed a $1.3M budget across the full event operation.

Experiential event design refers to the creation of immersive, interactive, and sensory-driven environments that go beyond standard event décor to create a distinct brand or cultural moment. BlackOps offers experiential design as a dedicated service, including custom fabrications, branded installations, and activations built to drive social engagement and create lasting impressions. Past work includes activations at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture that generated measurable increases in social media impressions.

Yes. BlackOps produces both virtual and hybrid events and has done so across national and international projects. Virtual and hybrid capabilities are integrated with their A/V and technical services, including livestream production, broadcast-quality video capture, and remote event management.

For large-scale productions, reaching out 6 to 12 months in advance allows time for thorough planning, vendor contracting, and technical assessment. For smaller activations or targeted A/V support, timelines can be shorter. BlackOps recommends starting the conversation as early as possible so the team can be embedded in the planning process from the ground up, which is where they work best.

Some of our best work has occurred on even shorter runways. We encourage you to book a discovery call even if your large-scale production is operating on a tighter timeline.

BlackOps is a Black-owned event production company consisting of producers, project managers, and A/V technicians with decades of combined experience across the nonprofit, corporate, and cultural sectors. Their work spans events for organizations like BET, ESSENCE, Red Bull, Google, YouTube, and Teach For America. Clients consistently highlight the team's organizational precision, problem-solving under pressure, and deep cultural fluency as qualities that set BlackOps apart from larger, more generalist production firms.
